Fashion is created through many stages – from the materials and the manufacturing process right through to the finished product. Together with our suppliers and partners, we therefore focus closely on selected materials, recognised certifications and modern manufacturing processes. On this page, we outline the measures and standards already in place for specific products and within individual areas of the business. The information relates in each case to the specifically named and appropriately labelled products, materials or processes. All details and supporting documentation are regularly reviewed and updated as necessary.

Bei Artikeln mit dem STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® Label wurden sämtliche Bestandteile nach den Anforderungen des Standards auf Schadstoffe geprüft. Dies umfasst unter anderem Stoffe, Garne, Knöpfe und weitere Zubehörteile.

MATERIALS AND MANUFACTURING PROCESSES
Einige unserer Produkte enthalten Baumwolle aus kontrolliert biologischem Anbau. Der genaue Materialanteil ist der jeweiligen Produktkennzeichnung zu entnehmen. Die verwendeten Materialien und zugehörigen Nachweise werden produktbezogen dokumentiert.
For selected products, we use recycled polyester. The proportion of each material is specified in the product labelling. Depending on the yarn used, the raw materials may include, for example, used plastic bottles or production offcuts.
Recycled polyester fibres from the brand REPREVE® are used in parts of our product range. They are made, amongst other things, from used plastic bottles. The relevant product labelling indicates whether a product contains REPREVE® fibres and what the respective percentage of this material is.
REPREVE Our Ocean® uses plastic bottles which, according to the manufacturer, are collected in communities within a 50-kilometre radius of coastlines where there are no formal waste management systems. The collected bottles are certified by one of the manufacturer’s partners and subsequently processed into recycled polyester.
We dispense with all our articles on real fur and only use artificial fur (fake fur) made from synthetic fibres.
According to the supplier documentation we have received, the leather used in the leather jackets we supply is tanned using vegetable tanning agents and without the use of chromium salts. The vegetable tannins are extracted from plant-based raw materials such as wood, bark or leaves.
Selected jeans feature a design by Jeanologia® A specially developed washing process is used. The associated EIM score assesses defined impacts of the respective finishing process, such as water and energy consumption and the use of chemicals. For items labelled accordingly, the calculated score is indicated on the hangtag.
To finish some of our denim items, our production partners use the Smart Foam process. In this process, foam acts as a carrier for the finishing agents used. According to the technology provider, this process can reduce water consumption compared with specific traditional washing processes.
High-quality casual wear is what our customers expect from us. However, our responsibility extends beyond that. As a German textile company with a global supply chain, we are committed to addressing the social and environmental impacts of our business activities.
Together with our staff, suppliers and partners, we focus on selected materials, certifications, manufacturing methods and operational processes. In doing so, we encounter a variety of challenges, for which we develop concrete and transparent solutions.

The details contained herein relate in each case to the specifically named products, materials, business divisions and reporting periods. The underlying information and supporting evidence are regularly checked to ensure they are up to date.
Sustainable packaging
We are increasingly using recycled materials for our packaging film and cardboard in order to reduce our carbon footprint in the long term.
Our shipping bags and our returns bags are therefore also made from recycled plastic, both certified with the "Blue Angel" environmental seal.
The bags therefore consist of at least 80 % of post-consumer recycled material. In this way, we save valuable resources by recycling existing raw materials from waste products and processing them into new products.
And we attach particular importance to taking into account the various requirements in the extensive supply chain and protecting the product during transport.
